Cottagecore is the newest trend to take over weddings and bridal fashion – it’s not hard to see why. The “grandma chic” wedding aesthetic pays homage to vintage fashion and decor that makes you feel as if you should be running through the forest in a flowing dress. Which is exactly what we did for this styled shoot! Straight out of a fairytale book, this styled shoot is reminiscent of classic princess stories like Sleeping Beauty or Rapunzel. Cottagecore is meant to capture an ethereal, vintage wedding style. Relying on nature to guide decor and bridal attire decisions for a whimsical result, we pulled inspiration from forest weddings and romantic picnics for a wedding that is a moment in a dreamy, classic book scene.
